Today I joined Quidd to be their Director of Token Marketing. You know Quidd to be the long standing digital collectibles company with access to top brands like Disney, Star Trek, Hello Kitty and 325 other leading brands. What made headlines in late 2021 is when Quidd became part of Animoca Brands and launched their fungible utility token, $QUIDD. Already part of a $400 billion collectors market, they stepped into the NFT market that currently stands at $10.7 billion in just one year. With Web3 still in its infancy, these numbers have just scratched the surface of what is to come for NFTs and on-chain experiences.

So what’s exciting about the $QUIDD token compared to hundreds of others in the market? Why did I choose to join this project? Quidd serves over 7,000,000 mainstream digital collectors, stores over 2.1B pieces of individually-serialized digital artwork, and facilitates over 6 transactions-per-second in its aftermarket. Those numbers cannot be matched anywhere in the NFT marketplaces at the moment. What is unique about $QUIDD is the ability of the collector to choose on which chain and when they want to mint their collectible. It is making it easy for old school collectors to venture into the new frontier of Web3 while maintaining the value of their collections and ownership for generations.

The $QUIDD token will unlock the world of hundreds of brands not yet found on the chain when token holders can purchase NFTs on the Quidd marketplace and get access to exclusive drops only found in their project. It is a convergence of collectors, buyers, and sellers in a community which enjoys keeping parts of history and memories of time past. The selfish reason to join this team is that it is very early in the NFT space and room for so much more. My job is easy because there is so much to be excited about when it comes to the utility of the token. It is backed by the biggest whale in the space, Aminoca Brands, which opens a whole rolodex of resources and projects to collaborate with.

As a marketer what you need to succeed is a product to believe in, the freedom to be creative, and budget to execute your ideas. To say that I’m excited about this opportunity would be an understatement. I’m anxious to push down the doors and show the world what Quidd is creating. There is so much coming in such little time, that the biggest task is just keeping up with the pace of innovation and interest.
